The Invisible Hearing Clinic has been a big fan of Phonak’s Marvel hearing aids since their release in late 2018. The industry-leading features have included the most precise sound quality and direct connectivity with all Bluetooth enabled mobile phones. Marvel 2.0, sees the addition of the Audéo M-RT, an all-in-one hearing aid. Roger Direct is also now available in all of their Marvel hearing aids.
Audéo M-RT – The All-in-One Hearing Aid
The Audéo M-RT builds still further upon Marvel’s most precise sound quality, all-device Bluetooth connectivity, rechargeability, direct binaural streaming and integrated telecoil. The addition of Roger Direct allows for unrivalled hearing performance in noisy environments and over distance. All in all, this probably represents the most versatile hearing device around.
Roger Direct and Marvel Connectivity
For the last six years, Roger has helped users to cope in loud noise and over longer distances by transmitting speakers’ voices wirelessly to the listener. Until now, though, hearing aid wearers had to plug another receiver or audio shoe into their hearing aids or use a separate streaming device to receive the signal. Marvel hearing aids with Roger Direct eliminate that need for extra components to capture the Roger signal, thus resulting in a product that’s around 40% smaller.
The Invisible Hearing Clinic is one of the elite Roger Certified Centres of Excellence. Alan and Michael were delighted to pose with their latest training certificates and Alan commented that:
With the latest software upgrades allowing the Audeo Marvels to connect directly to Roger Products, it really is a marvellous bonus for those difficult-to-hear scenarios such as dining out in noisy environments.
All of our existing current Audéo Marvel wearers can access the Roger Direct feature with an upgrade to their existing device. The addition of Roger Direct further enhances Marvel’s reputation as one of the industry’s premier hearing solutions.
More Helpful Marvel Features
In addition to Roger Direct, Marvel hearing aids can now pair two Bluetooth audio devices at the same time. This feature is helpful for users who own two mobile phones, or who stream content from both a smartphone and another Bluetooth device. Examples of these might include desktops, laptops and tablets. The optional TV Connector also allows Marvel users to stream HD TV audio directly to both hearing aids. The two Bluetooth slots are still open for other devices.
Marvel’s Marvellous New App
The upgraded my Phonak app is designed to give Marvel users an enhanced personal hearing experience. As well as the current Hearing Diary and Remote Support functions, the improved my Phonak app now has many more advanced custom options. These include noise reduction and speech focus.
Phonak Marvel’s remote control, as well as distant fitting, both feature within the updated my Phonak app. Marvel technology is based on Phonak’s AutoSense OS 3.0 platform. It was developed using AI to instinctively learn, recognise and adapt to give the best hearing experience throughout all listening environments. AutoSense OS delivers first-class performance in complex listening situations. It reduces listening effort in multi-way discussions and provides a silky-smooth sound experience when streaming audio from any Bluetooth device.
